Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

Are you ready for some football? The Super Bowl is here. I'm happy because I LOVE the game, but it's bittersweet because it means football season is over.

Score some major points by serving this during your Super Bowl watch party. This recipe is one of my favorites to serve because you get a ton of flavor. You'll get spicy, sweetness from the jalapeno peppers, ooey gooeyiness from the cream cheese and cheddar cheese, and of course the crispiness from the bacon bits! The flavors of the white pepper, garlic and onion powders make this recipe pop!

Enjoy this with your family and friends! Happy Super Bowl!

Ingredients

  • 6 jalapeno peppers

  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

  • 2- 3 garlic cloves

  • white powder (to taste)

  • sea salt (to taste)

  • onion powder (to taste)

  • garlic powder (optional, to taste)

  • bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise, scrape out the seeds and membrane, and wash the peppers. Place the peppers across the lined baking sheet.

  3. Mix the remaining ingredients except the bacon bits in a medium-sized bowl.

  4. Evenly distribute the mixture into the peppers. Then top the peppers with bacon bits. Press the bacon bits into the mixture.

  5. Bake for 18- 20 minutes- until the cheese is melted and slightly crisp on top.
